My artwork is what I refer to as "Mixed Media Relief". I raise the foreground subject or subjects approximately .25 inches above the backgroud, thus giving the original piece a shaded three dimensional appearance. This technique is only availabe in the original and not availabe on prints. I work primarily with pen & ink, watercolor, airbrush and pastels. I am a self taught artist. I custom make my own frames for some of the originals out of American Hardwoods and then custom paint, stain and spray a satin clear coat over all the frame materials. I also do the mat work on all of my originals. Some originals are matted only and not framed, I can make the frames for these as well at the buyer's request. If my work is pleasing to...
